Updating Address on Orders
If you entered the wrong address on an order, here are a few steps to get it corrected for you!
I entered the wrong address on an order, what do I do now?
If you entered the wrong address on an order, simply send us an email, please include : Your Order Number and the updated address for your order. We suggest you do this right away, as we generally ship all orders within one business day (Other than pre-order's). Send an email to : Gamingstore@theroguetraders.com
I put the correct address on my order, but when I received my order confirmation email, it had my old address on it, why?
This is rather common - most likely this occurred when you checked out with either Paypal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay - When you enter your correct address on the order, but choose those alternate check out forms, the site will redirect you to those pages to complete the check out - if you have an old address saved on Paypal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, those sites act as the payment processor and the shipping address will be used that you have set up for those.
Our suggestion if that happens, send us an email letting us know of the mistake, and be sure to update your address on those third party check out sites so this mistake does not happen in the future, whether on our site or someone other site.
What if i did not notice that I put the wrong address on an order and it has allready shipped?
1) If the package has not left our building yet we can void the label and reprint a new label.
2) If the package has allready left out buiding and is beyond our reach of physcially stopping the package from shipping, we can attempt to redirect a package to the right address by submitting a package intercept with our shipping service. Package intercepts are NOT ALWAYS GUARANTEED - the USPS charges a flat $25 fee to intercept and redirect a package. We will send a pay additional paylink to pay the $25 intercept fee. If the intercept is not successful, we will refund the $25 intercept fee. I know the $25 fee seems alot, unfortunately this is dollar for dollar what we are charged for the intercept. These are a last resort option.
Who is responsible if I entered the wrong address into my order and it gets delivered to the wrong address?
Unfortunately entering the wrong address is ultimately the responsibilty of the buyer. We receive the orders as they are received, ship them out in a timely manner to the address that is recieved on the order. Often wrong address's on orders are the result of not updating or removing old address's from third party platforms such as Paypal, Gpay or Apple Pay.
